POLICY OVERVIEW
At Positive Canine Behaviour we understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your dog training session. However, as a small business, last-minute cancellations and no-shows significantly impact our schedule and ability to provide our services to other clients. To ensure that we can continue to offer the highest quality training services, we have implemented the following cancellation policy and Terms and Conditions.

COMMUNICATION POLICY
All communication with Tamsin Ross @ Positive Canine Behaviour is to be made via email or phone, not via Facebook or any other media (which are used for marketing purposes only).

CANCELLATION POLICY
All lessons and services must be booked and paid for up front. There is a strict 48-hour cancellation policy on all 1-2-1 lessons.

You cannot cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of the start of your booked lesson; if you do, then that lesson will be forfeited. Cancellations must be received in writing via email. In extenuating circumstances, a refund may be considered, but all refunds are strictly at the discretion of Tamsin Ross.
If Tamsin Ross has to cancel your lesson, the lesson will be rescheduled.

If a package of lessons is cancelled then all lessons that have been taken will be charged at the individual price of a one-off lesson.

Positive Canine Behaviour reserves the right to cancel any group lessons due to adverse weather conditions.
In extenuating circumstances, a refund may be considered but any refunds are strictly at the discretion of Positive Canine Behaviour.

HEALTH OF YOUR DOG
Please do not bring your dog to class if they are unwell in any way, this includes coughing, vomiting or diarrhoea. Please seek medical attention from your vet. If your dog attends classes or a 121 lesson and Tamsin deems your dog to be unwell or unsound and in her opinion it is not ethical on welfare grounds for your dog to continue in that class or lesson, she has the right to ask you to leave.
OWNER RESPONSIBILITY
Harsh handling is strongly discouraged. Outright violence to any dog, if it continues after an initial warning, the dog and owner will be asked to leave (without a refund).
If your dog toilets anywhere on the training premises, please pick up and dispose of appropriately.
Please be careful when allowing your dogs to greet other dogs and people prior or during classes, as dogs can become defensive on leads, not all dogs are social with strange dogs and people.
If you are unable to attend your class or you are running late for your class, please inform us. Please contact us via email (positivecaninebehaviour@gmail.com) or call us and leave a message or text us on 07711258664.

EQUIPMENT
Please note we do not allow Shock Collars, Prong Collars, Choke Chains, Slip Leads or Flexi Leads to be worn on dogs in 121's, classes or workshops. We will actively ask you to remove these from your dog and failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the class or the termination of the 121 lesson.
We advise that you consider a y front fitting harness with a front ring attachment (Perfect Fit Harness, Hurta everyday Y front, TTouch Harness, Mekuti, ruffwear y harness, accompanied by a double clip ended lead like a Halti lead.)
Please keep your dog on a lead at all times from arriving at the car park to entering the classes in any of our venues. Dogs need to stay on lead unless a specific exercise requires them not to be.

SUITABILITY OF YOUR DOG TO JOIN CLASSES/WORKSHOPS
If your dog has any known aggression issues towards People or dogs you must inform Tamsin of Positive Canine Behaviour in writing.
PLEASE NOTE ANY DOG WHO HAS SHOWN AGGRESSION TOWARDS STRANGERS MUST BE MUZZLED AT ALL TIMES IN CLASSES.
Sadly NO banned breeds under Section 1 of the Dangerous Dog Act are allowed to join the classes/workshops, this is due to our insurance company prohibiting it. Banned Breeds are the Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentina, Fila Brazilero, Pit Bull types and XL Bully Types.
PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS
From time to time we would like to use photographs and/or videos taken in classes or in workshops to promote Postive Canine Behaviour on social media and to be used on the Positive Canine Behaviour website. Please let us know if you’d rather we didn’t do this.

DISCLAIMER
Positive Canine Behaviour take every care to ensure the safety of you and your dog while training with them. However, they take no responsibility for any injury to you or your dog, or any illness or disease that may be contracted by yourself or your dog at any of their training venues including the car parks.
